Our comfortable sofa's and relaxed, informal atmosphere might make it difficult to leave, but at Whitley Ridge we want to make sure that you make the most of your stay in the Forest by providing you with the opportunity to enjoy the various activities that the forest has to offer.

This summer there is everything from walking, cycling / mountain biking, visits to the beach, horse riding, golf and fishing...we can arrange most things!

We have our own tennis court at Whitley Ridge with a local tennis pro available for lessons if you fancy a little knock up followed by Sunday brunch!

The obvious attraction that most couples and families enjoy in the New Forest is the outstanding natural beauty and wildlife. However, there is so much more to see and do near Whitley that you may have to stay a little while longer! All within a short drive of the hotel:

As well as local attractions the New Forest hosts yearly events such as the New Forest Show which is an annual agricultural show held for three days at the end of July 27-29th at New Park Showground, Brockenhurst which is 5 minutes from Whitley Ridge Hotel. The show is spectacular and a must see if you are visiting the forest during this time. It is a fun day out featuring show jumping, Horse racing, various equestrian classes as well as live stock competitions including Pigs, Cattle and Sheep.
